Our community center was built in 1989 with the primary use being for fund raisers at that time. Locals hoped it would someday become a church. This became a reality in 2005 with the help of Bishop Yanta, Deacon Willie & wife Francis.
We now celebrate Mass every Sunday and have bible study once a week, with a membership of 112.
Our priest is Father Jose Gomez who drives from Amarillo every Sunday morning. Our Deacon Pedro Juarez with his wife Teresa and two children moved from Wellington and now live in Silverton. Deacon Pedro Juarez leads our bible study on Monday evenings.
